Ok so I gave birth to my wonderful son about 18 weeks ago and am still super tender between my vaginal opening and my rectum. Needless to say sex is pretty painful even when lube is used and just touching that area with my finger causes pain (a burning/stinging pain) Is this normal this long after giving birth? Does it go away? Has anyone else had this problem?

Also, I did have almost a 3rd degree tear after I gave birth but received the go ahead from my ob gyn to have sex after 6 weeeks.
