I know there have been endless posts about shaving. I have never done it but was thinking it might make things a little more pleasant for my husband when he gives me oral. I think it is way too thick. Should I ask him or just give myself a trim?

I think you could do either. You can ask him and get his opinion, or you could do it and surprise him. Watch for his reaction and at that time if you haven't already asked him, ask him what he thinks of it. I am sure he'll either come out and say "I love it" or..."It's a little different." I know my man loves it when I shave (and I also feel cleaner after I do). Each guy has their own preference on it though, so kudos to you for not just assuming he'd either love it or hate it.
Good luck!!!
Just a tip though- before you shave, since you've said you never did it before, trim with a scissors first, and then shave. I usually just use plain soap when I shave, because you'll want to use something. I don't use shaving creams down there, because I do not want to risk getting any sort of infection (in case it gets inside somwhere). Thats why I use plain soap, it will help with razor burn. And a warning- once it starts to grow back (about 2 days to a week) its going to get itchy and you might get some red bumps (ingrown hairs). This is all completely normal!![]()
~Today, any person can fight the battles of one day It is only when you and I add the burdens of those two awful eternity's- yesterday and tomorrow, that we break down. It is not the experience of today that drives people mad. It is the remorse of bitterness for something which happened yesterday and the dread of what tomorrow may bring.
Let us therefore, live but one day at a time.~
You are so right Lizzardb63 I feel so clean and sexy after I shave but two days later... little red razor bumps. Ohh so ichy! Skirt99 I found that a green tea oil free moistureizer really helps! I would totally go for it! My husband gets really excited when I surprise him with the change![]()
When we first dated, my hubby asked about shaving all the time, but I was adementaly against it. Now after 11 years, I asked if he would like me to and he didn't sound too keen on the idea. He does't like change and he loves my privates just the way they are. So for him, shaving was a turn off.
It depends on your partner. Does he like changes and trying new things or feels more comfortable with the usual stuff?
Go for it! He will probably like it, and if not, it will always grow back.
I agree with Maleview, go for it, I reckon your partner will be turned on by it but if not, you will be back to your bush before you know it![]()
I heard baby powder will stop itching.
