Question yikes

Ive been dating this guy for a month now. He is totally amazing, and we just totally "click" in every concievable way. He is such a gentleman, we have amazing conversations, tickle fights, and sex is great.

I just got a sore down there (for the first time)

I dont know if I got it from him, or if I've had it, but its just been dormant or whatever. I go regularly for checkups and a pap, and things have always checked out normaly.

I guess I'm just sort of scared of what it could be, and nervous to what his reaction will be. I also dont want him to get defensive if he thinks I'm trying to blame it on him (I'm not, necesarily). Also, if he doesn't have it then I would like to take steps to make sure he won't get it.

(I am going very soon to have it checked out- hopefully sphyllis right?! haha (ew) because then we can just treat it, right?! yay!)

I feel like I have butterflies in my stomach, but not in the good way... more in the icky nervous way.

Has anyone had experience with this situation? Or telling a new partner about an infection?

Sore in a way that it was too much sex??!! Or it sounds like a different type of sore! I dont think sphyllis is the good one to get!!! I think you want chymidia (sp) if you had to pick!! Did you have a yeast infection....or did he?? This can cause redness and you or him could get sore from that. Let me know how it goes!
