I have read up a lot about the size of the vagina and how it can expand, etc but I am starting to think that mine is shorter in length than most. My cervix is getting touched in most positions and this is making me a little apprehensive. Does anyone have a method of measuring the length? Otherwise I will ask my gyni next time I am there.

Yes .. we are different in size. A good friend of mine went to her OBGYN and she made special note in her file to use the "longer" thingy when she getts her yearly exam. Me on the other hand .... I'm a shorty!! Kinda of a pain ... cuz he can hit "something" ... i forget what it is .. but hurts ... and hurts even worse later and when I have to pee.

The easiest way would be to ask your gyn at your next appointment. You could also purchase a speculum (that thing the doctor inserts when he's doing a pap) and use a mirror and tape measure, but that seems kind of dangerous, in my opinion.
