Default increasing your libido

Anyone have any success stories trying to raise their libido? I have heard that there are 2 therapies you can do to try and do this. One is to "think" more sexually. This means take some quite time and relax and think romantic and sexual thoughts. The other is masturbation. The idea being that masturbating will put you more in touch with your sexuality as well as stimulate you thus causing you to want to be stimulated more.

I'm sure everyone with a healthy libido will say yes, that would work for me, but has anyone with a low libido tried this (or something else) and actually raised their libido over time?

My libido was pretty low and i hated it because it seemed like everyone else was just more sexual. I think both of your ideas works. I felt for awhile that i couldnt be to open because i didnt want to be perceived as a . I do now own a vibrator which is completely amazing and also allow my self to create a good imagination as well. hope this helps, but i know my libido is alot higher now than it was before.

I had a low libido as well, I was embarrassed because I didn't know what to do but I tried both ways. I started out thinking more sexually and that lead to masturbation. My libido has increased a lot and feel better about myself and am able to have more relations with my bf.

Thanks a lot for the replies. It's very encouraging!

So how exactly did you do this? I mean did you have a special time planed where you would just think sexually, or would you just try and do it all day? Do you have to keep working at it or did it eventually just become second nature?
