i have seen a couple similar forums, but nothing quite like what i'm curious about. i leak after sex, which i realize is normal, but it happens in installments considerably after having sex--as in, around an hour or more later. i leak almost immediately after, and then much later leak enough fluid to show through my pants. it's somewhat inconvenient if the sex isn't at night...any similar experiences/explanations? is there a potential problem, or something i can do to help it, or should i just wear a liner/tampon?
i'm not terribly concerned, but i'm very newly sexually active, so i don't really know what should be considered concerning or not. thanks. |

I don't know much about it, except that you shouldn't use a tampon if you're not on your period. I don't think they're designed to soak up anything of a different consistency than blood and you could be opening yourself up for a problem by trying to use one to soak up semen.

The exact same thing happens to me every time I have sex without a condom. It's very annoying, but nothing to worry about, I promise! I wouldn't wear a tampon unless you're on your period, as someone said above. I'd just wear a panyliner.

Why would you NOT leak? I'm assuming your leaking semen, not urine. If it's urine, you need to see your gyn. If it's semen, it's normal. Where else would the semen go? Put on a pantyliner. And count on it leaking every, unless a condom is used (obviously.) It can leak into the next day.
