Question stomach pains

So over the past few months I have had a really tender lower stomach. It seems to feel tender all the time and even sore to the touch. I have had probems with cysts before but not like this and I guess the older I get the more I worry. After I have sex I also notice that my lower abdomen is a lot more sensitive and sometimes it actually hurts during sex. I have worried about maybe this being endometrosis or does anyone know about the HPV virus. At this point I am just paranoid and thinking negatively but maybe if anyone has ever had these symptoms they could respond.

hello hannah02-
This could be any number of things as you stated. It's in your best interest to see a doctor, not guess around it. Then you'll know for sure what it is. Knowing what it is....then you'll have the correct course of action to take. Probably even an option or two. I know it is easier said than done but, try not to worry....stress seldom makes anything better.

Hi Hannah -

Yeah, you should go get an exam. I'm sorry you're so uncomfortable. It could be endo, or your cysts, or pelvic inflammatory disease. HPV would not give you pains of that nature - you'd have warts on your vagina that would bother you.

A side note, I had fibroids that sometimes made sex uncomfortable I had surgery to remove them.

You never know what it could be. So get checked out.
