Is my thinking on this is odd? Maybe I just define sex differently than some.
What brought this up was the other night I was watching tv and the couple consisted of two females. One of them mentioned having sex with her girlfriend. I have never considered a lesbian couple as being able to have sex. Sure they can engage in sexual play and can satisfy each other, but is it really considered sex?
I guess what I'm wondering is how does everyone define sex.
I always thought of sex as two people who care for each other enough to show how they feel about each other...but of course maybe that's "making love" and sex is just a way to please someone...I don't know... but you do bring up a really good question.
I think that two women can have sex. It's similiar to many people's views that anal and oral aren't sex. I disagree and believe they are many different types of sex. I guess with same-sex couples the "main event" is not the same as with most heterosexual couples, but if you've ever seen lesbian porn (the kind actually made by and for lesbians, not the mainstream ones for men) then I think it's easy to see that they are definitely having sex, whether for love or pure pleasure.
