I am certain it was not the pill that you took. Is the bump just a swollen, skin colored, raised area? Or does it look like it could be white like a pimple or filled with liquid like a blister? Or does the bump have any shape to it?
If it looks like normal skin that is raised or swollen, kind of like if you really bruised yourself, it may be just that... a bruise. Keep an eye on it to see if it chages at all. Try cold compresses to help reduce the swelling.
If it has white or yellow color to it, it could be a pimple (you can get them down there too), an ingrown hair or infected hair follicle, or a small abcess. They will usually go away on their own, but if it continues to grow, then you should be seen by a doctor as it may need to be lanced.
If it looks more like a blister with clear liquid in it, it could possibly be a friction blister or the herpes virus. The herpes virus creates blisters which open up and turn into open sores.
If the bump has a distintively different texture and shape to it (kind of rough or lumpy), it could be the Human Papilloma Virus or "Genital Warts".
That's about all the likely possibillities. Let us know what happens.
