Yea, I believe it about Jamaica. I was there on vacation once and did a guy I met at a bar. He was 17 inches (this was before my current boyfriend).

W.H.O. is an excellent place to get the data.

The distribution of condoms by many of the NGOs proves
that 'one size does not fit all'.

On the Indian sub-contenent they use an extremely small
condom; in Jamaica and other parts of the world they
have to use a much larger condom.

However, the idea of a world average is ridiculous.
It's like sitting in Norway and presenting statistics
that 50% of the world has blue eyes.

Normal for White American men might be six inches.
Normal for black American men is likely to be eight
inches.

Depends on where you are in the world.
Depends on what is normal for your culture.

Then of course growth is uneven.

The last survey I read showed that the average American male was 5.43 inches erect. That was across all races. I am a Latino male and am between 6 and 6.5 inches erect...I would never measure myself flacid because it doesn't matter - we all increase differently.

Think of it this way - when I was in H.S (about the age of the young man here) my best friend was a skinny, short Jamaican kid. I am tall and thin. We were always together and always playing sports, exercising, hitting on girls, etc. One day we were playing basketball in the school gym and decided to play shirts vs. skins. Him and I were skins - and we pulled off our shirts and everyone was amazed that not only did I have a 6 pack, but he had a 10 pack! Than he proceeds to flex his arms (just as skinny as mine) and BAM! He had these HUGE biceps when flexed (unfortunately I wasn't as blessed). My point is, muscles (which your penis is) all become different sizes when flexed - like a penis.

Don't worry about your penis size, just be thankful that you are alive and well enough to look forward to sex and serving your country.

The reason I used the 50% blue eyed study from
Norway..(Europe) and mentioned it's applicablity
in Lagos, (Nigeria) is to avoid the kind of American
study which is so useless that it doesn't serve as

in the world, not just a bathroom in San Fransisco.

This is to save you embarrassment; never use American Statistics. Using American statistics is like going to a
zoo to study animals in their 'natural habitate' or learning
about dogs from a puppy mill.

The 'average' depends where you live in the world.

In India, as has had a great deal of media attention,
the basic Durex condom is too big. They drop off.
In other parts of the world they are so small they
are the subject of jokes.

The average Indian or Parkistani man would be
considered pathetic in Jamaica; yet, considering
the population of those countries, obviously, they
work well. The Indian man with a four inch
penis would not feel small in his country, because
in his country he's perfect.

There is no 'average' size across the board. It
depends on where you live and your ethnicity.

If you want to talk about the 'average' language,
that would be Chinese. And the 'average' hair colour
would be black.

That wouldn't work so well in the Sweden.

If large human penises existed, they would appear in porn movies. Anyone who is really concerned can rent a few movies and look. Presumably porn actors are chosen partially because they are larger than average.

Some people are in porn movies because that is their prefered way to make money. Some are exhibitionists. Some (I hope the minority) are coerced into it. Men in particular may become porn stars because they can be paid to have sex with lots of women.

It is difficult to find real "proof" for penis size - studies would be difficult / illegal in some countries. But - the US has immigrants from all over the world, so it is probably not that bad as a sample population. In the US, something like 6" for average and median is not far from correct.

But - why does it matter anyway? Surely no one is going to travel the world to find a man with an enormous schlong.

Either way, I think we can all agree that the avg size of a mans penis isn't 17 - 22"...
