Vanilla or Kink?

If you've paid attention to the newest posts lately, there's been a lot of attention paid to the kinkier side of sex. And that's great! But I had an epiphany just recently about my preferences for sex, and I'd like to hear some other people's preferences.
I like vanilla sex. The kinkiest things I guess my boyfriend and I do are doggy and oral. We tried anal about twice, and while I was lucky to not find it painful, it's not what we like to do best. Our vanilla sex is hot. I feel like I turn myself completely over to primal urges ... I get reprimanded for clawing him, so my bedspread takes the abuse instead. But I can't help it! We've just got that connection.
In my early days of sexual exploration, I thought I would be a real freak. I liked the idea of whips and chains, of getting tied up or tied down. I liked giving pleasure rather than receiving it. But now that I've been basically run over by love, the things I like best are those that bring pleasure to us both at the same time. (Not 69, though. Too tricky.)
So what I want to know is, which kind of sex do you prefer? And why do you think it's what you prefer?

Before I can answer can you give me a definition of vanilla sex? Sorry, not familiar with that term.

Vanilla sex is basically ordinary sex... Missionary... Lights out... Likely no toys...

I'd say I fall somewhere between the two, I think each aspect has it's time and place. My partner is quite serious about her kink, and I enjoy it too... As for analyzing why I like bondage and stuff... I'd rather not lol

Although, I think I know why my partner does. Christian upbringing coupled with a tyranical mother is a good recipe for a bondage loving girl. Basically, they've been instilled with so much moral stigma regarding sex that bondage offers them a way to bypass the morally instilled guilt of the act, and simply enjoy it.

Who are you trying to fool. We are Vanilla. Probably as Vanilla as you can get. Oh, we put a twist of marshmallow on it but we groove. Put it this way, kinkie can be anal but some couples love it, deep bondage (have been tied up and I love it only we used scarves. I would have to say that vanilla is a fairly good description of where I am. Don't get me wrong though I'm not the lights off missionary only type. I am experimental to a point but within reason. As for toys, the few times they have been in the mix they have never added anything to the experience, at least not for me. Guess this might sound kind of dull to most but I love my guy and just being with him is very exciting to me.

I question everything you say. You are a child. Wet behind the ears and yet try to preach to the masses.
