Default Do you let him have sex with you while your on your period?

I have always been uneasy with this. Its such a private thing, my period, and I have never been comfurtable with my boyfriend (very close, of 3 years) seeing any blood afterwards or during. It freaks me out. Yet he on the other hand doesn't care in the least, and did it all the time with his last girlfriend. He encourages me to not worry about it and not be embarressed, which I'm not embarressed, just uneasy with it. I will let him do it in the shower where it can wash off, and OCCASIONALLY with a condom on. I want to become a little more chilled about it though, because if he really doesn't care at all, which I know he doesn't, I want to share that ease with him.

Do you all have sex while on the rag? Have any tips for me, besides just to do it?

well me nad my ex did it all the time remember to put a towel under you. also to get more confortable i don't know how you are but if it light at the end start there just doing it at the end so it is not that noticable and you will get more confortable. also if you have cramps it sometimes will help them. the only advise i really have is do what is comfortable for you. good luck.

I've heard that it helps cramps, which I get mildly to moderate sometimes. I wonder why? But yeah, I for sure won't let him do it if I am in a middle heavy part of the period.

I always have sex while I am on my period. I think it feels a little bit better when I'm on my period. It just seems more sensitive. I don't know if this is in my head or not. I have a very light period due to birth control pills so just a little bit of blood gets on the end of the condom. I've only been active with one person and am very comfortable with it so I like it.

If you're not comfortable with it, or uneasy with it then you don't have to do it. If it's a private thing for you then you most certainly have the right to not have sex while you're on your period. Do whatever makes you happy Good luck.

It doesn't bother me too much. If you're both in the mood what the hey! However, if you are not comfortable with it then by all means don't force yourself to do something you don't want to just because your boyfriend wants you to.

I find I'm more sensitive (physically and emotionally) and more likely for it to hurt.
But the blood thing is either "hee hee" funny or "wow that looks gory" funny to me. I can imagine that for him it's strange to see his junk covered in blood >.<
(Of course, I've tried to tell him more than once that it's not "just" blood. He will have none of it. Of course, if I told him it was "bloody baby pillow," I'd probably never get laid again >.<)
I'm so strange when it comes to my period >.>

Thinking back I doubt I missed too many periods when we did not have sex. I used to find that I was so horny during that time and he loved it so we went at it....I would put towels on the bed and use a tampon....If the flow was too heavy I would use two....Wash myself and that way he could go down on me before entry and then pull the string when it was go baby go time.....Ah, I remember it well.....

    Exclamation You can, but...

I just have to say that if you have sex with a tampon in place, be as careful as you can. In the heat of passion, those things can get knocked pretty far up there, and then it's a heck of an ordeal to get it out. Looking back I laugh about the experience, one of those funny moments that every couple has, but at the time, it gave me and Hubby quite a scare. I thought I would have to see my doctor to have it removed. Just be very careful!

My friends often talk about having sex while they are on their periods, they really don't mind at all. I'm a virgin so I can't talk from experience but I don't think I'd be too comfortable with it. I'd find it embarrassing, I'd be embarrassed incase I smelt bad.
If I was to ever have sex whilst on my period I think I'd do what someone else suggested you do and do it when my period was light.

No, we would never have sex with the tampon inside...He would pull the string and pull them out before entry...This was just to get me really aroused with oral sex....He would come out a bloody mess but the tampon would always come out first....I am sorry I should have made that more plain....
