Sorry to have offended thee.Just trying to inject a little humour into this site I guess some are not hip to Zeppelin.

Morningman: I am sorry and told Little I thought it was Mick Jaegger so I am real far out...I swear I thought you were making fun of my high sexuality.....Sometimes it is difficult being lost in space like I am with the way that I am, but oh what a crazy time in life it is.....
You did nothing wrong but I messed up and showed how a woman can walk two feet off the ground with a load of gun powder......It is funny as my husband is so calm and collected and after all these years I am still his wild child of yesterday......
Thank you again for your idea of you need coolin baby.......I listened to your words this morning.....and got cooled.....Once again my humble apology......That was to be lesson #4,659 in life.....
Take Care, Caroline
I know the song; it's a really good one. What made it
so great was that when the Led Zeppelin did it, they
took full advantage of sterios, so that they'd send
the guitar riff from one channel to another, so if
you had a speaker in the left upper corner and another
in the right, the music virtually arced over you.
HOWEVER...
I would supply the caveat to Morningman that some of
us are NOT Americans, and that some cultural references
might be lost or misinterpreted.
I have had to annotate my speech on some sites because
particular references are unknown, and misconstrued.
I was actually banned on a site for quoting a particular
section of the Laws of Jamaica.
Haha, two threads created to cover one misunderstanding/argument in a locked thread...
Makes you wonder if it's worth locking threads at all... heheh
zep was not an american band -
It's very simple, Caro.
Click on the name of the person you want to
Ignore. You go to their profile.
Under their name in the Profile is an 'add'
option; the one on the right says
"Add (NAME) to your ignore List."
Click on it.
After that whatever (NAME) posts, you see
nothing but a narrow banner with his name,
reminding you he is on your ignore list.
You will never see another word he posts.
Not only does the thread make more sense
without (NAME) But the fact he is not
notified you are ignoring him adds to
the amusement.
Imagine (NAME) writing a virtual 'book' in
response to your post. As you scroll through
the replies you only see the narrow banner.
Many times you don't even notice it.
Sure, on other sites Trolls are banned or
gagged.
I think of the Ignore option like a Television
Remote. Sure a station can spend millions
of dollars on a program. But I don't have to
watch it.
Sure, an advertiser pays for the program,
but I can push the mute key.
Advertisers get to get count their 'hits',
I don't read rubbish, and everyone's freedom
is intact.
And you think I am not aware of that?
Exactly what in my post inferred that I
thought Led Zeppelin was an American Band?
Did you notice there was a new paragraph
which began with...
HOWEVER...
And then after a double space went on to
another point? Introducing another idea?
Usually, when there is a new paragraph
it introduces a new idea, or a separate
clause.
The double spacing is used to say to the reader:
"I am Moving On To Another Point."
As you might notice, I take advantage of
double spacing to set off ideas. I avoid
run on sentence, avoid a conglomerate
of concepts, using separate paragraphs
for separate ideas.
