Spooning is when you are both lying on your side, and the man enters you from behind. Sort of like doggy style but horizontal. Me and my wife use this one a lot because we start cuddling in bed in the morning and it just goes from there.

If you are saying now that you are ready, this is the way you want to tell him? Then his reaction would probably be an immediate hard on, shock and then grab you in case you change your mind....
If you are saying that's the first thing you want him to get inside you, then i would say, let him know that you are ready and certainly tell him that you want his ...........inside of you, then let him do it his way so it's more intimate and he feels in charge and take it all in, it's your first time.
Rushing that as the first thing, your body may not be fully ready for it and anyway, enjoy it all....
