Best Sex, Worst swelling after?

So last night I think I probably had the best sex I have ever had in my life. It was amazing. We probably did everything in the book in 2 hours. haha I am no stranger to the fact that sometimes post sex you experience some soarness and burning sensation when you go to the bathroom, last night when I went to bed I noticed that my labia's inner lips were swollen and seemed to be out more then usual.... but when I woke up this morning I got no burning sensation but it did seem as though the swelling had gone down since last night but is still swollen. is this something I should be worried about? anyone have similar experiences?

Was the sex quite vigorous and different from the sex that you usually have?
If so, i dont think you have anything to worry about in particular, id just keep an eye on things for the next few days and if the swelling doesnt appear to have gone down in 3-4 days id go get it checked out just incase.

Im sure you already know that - but just to put your mind at rest even more...i had the best sex ever and developed thrush the next day - yay

Are you putting anything on your labia for the swelling?

You didnt say if it was a one night stand ...so excuse me for this but if it was anybody else other than your husband (and sometimes even a husband

) get checked for an sti ...if you did everything in the book in two hours its kind of obvious the tissues will be swollen and inflamed ...but if you dont want it to happen again ..dont go at it like a bull in china shop ! hope this helped .

what is "thrush"? yeah i was thinking if it doesnt go all the way down i would definatly get it checked out. Also my partner has been my long time partner of about 6 months and we only have sex with eachother. Ive been checked everytime we have had sex and have gotten nothing. So I'm not worried that its an STI but thanks for the concern.

and also it was a more vigoris (spell check? sorry spelling has never been my best friend) then usual but not to an extent that I havent experienced before but i dont know just in such a good mood today! haha Im sure you know how that is. ha but yeah it was good. ha

Hi Dollface,

Yeah Miffed23, she is a "lucky devil"

Thrush is a yeast infection, you can get it from to much penetration which sometimes creates some dryness during, but also nylon knickers can do it when your wearing tight pants, like jeans.

So swelling can happen, irrigation and itchiness.

The joy of being a woman?

The Chemist has a tablet form one only and cream combined when swollen like that ( the itching may not take effect yet), that can kill it in a day or two.

Or Natural Yoghurt as horrid as it feels can do the trick but takes longer.

I would recommend you do either though as it can be a nasty feeling otherwise for quite a few days, you may feel like you'd been riding a horse and walk funny otherwise....

You may be doing that anyway

OH GREAT! haha another yeast infection fabulous. Back to the store I go! haha i wish there was a guide book that was called "dont do this or you will get yeast infection" haha so far it would go for me
1. dont use flavored lube upon intercourse
2. dont penitrate to deep because your gonna be walkin like a jocky for the next week.

You know you'll be adding 3 and 4 in the near future~!~~~

Now, see flavoured lube? Never knew that could cause yeast infections, however, i used a lube that did with my ex-husband well i went of the pill and we tried our relationship again ahhhhh, same old, same old.

But there you go, watch out for some of those sperm asides as well then!!

I think we may have our wires crossed...i was just saying that i know where you are coming from as after i had amazing sex i contracted thrush.

Soooo, unless i am mistaken...you didnt say you had itching or discharge? You just said that your labia were swollen...am i right or am i (again) suffering from peroxide trouble?!
