Recently my boyfriend and i decided to have sex while i was on my period. I was very nervous about this and was afraid that blood would be everywhere, it wasn't as bad as i had imagined. The sex was actually more pleasing to both of us cuz i was in less pain. Has anyone else felt better while having period sex? I am young but not to young so i thought maybe it was just hormones. You say that the sex was more pleasing because you were in less pain - are you always in pain during sex?

You'll find that the other threads will give you information about how your hormones are at their peak during menstruation, therefore sex will naturally be more pleasurable....however, as you stated it isnt always the 'prettiest' time to have sex and its a case of personal preference.

We will do it in the shower if we want it while im on my period. That way its alot cleaner and you can wash right up.....I like doing it in the shower anyways....
