Yeah, I can completely agree with the 50/50 thing, I think I may have even told her that. That she may suddenly decide that I'm not even the right guy for her, so I suppose we'll have to see what develops.

CW, I have been telling this woman she's sexy and hot since DAY 1 - Since the first night out together. Apparently I'm the first guy to do it. I guess the real challenge is having the patience to make it through all the insecurities.

Kalashin, thanks for that, over the past weeks/months, I have read and read and read as much as I can about insecure women, behaviors that she's exhibited (promiscuity, drinking, lying, etc.) and for whatever reason (maybe I was going a little crazy myself - jury is still out) would not stop, even though we weren't together. But because of that, she is choosing to take the high road, and I hope I can help her stay on it. Even if I lose her in the end, at least I'll know that I did the right thing -- and the next woman I'll be with will probably think she's won the jackpot (hopefully, right?).

Everything you have stated above about her acting out of fear of getting hurt I do know. I know that's why she does the things she does, and I think that's part of why I refuse to give up on her. Because I do love her, and I hate seeing this person I see as so wonderful, being so fearful and hurting inside. I think that's part of it.

Why is it that when a women is sexually adventurous, has explored sex with many partners and really, really loves sex she gets dumped into a category of used goods, as in slightly spoiled, and not worth this great love your saving up for that perfect girl; you know, the one who has all the above qualities innately and has been saving herself for "the one?" A woman who has behaved in this non-traditionally accepted way, and lets be honest, acted like men, for whatever reason is not a sex crazed nypho who can't be happy with one man. You guys need to grow up, or at least grow out of that mid-20th century mentality.

I know of a lot of people that are together where one was very in-secure but the other person got them out of it, or were alcoholics, same thing. If your the first person who has said this to her, then there is an emotional bond there. If she cried, that's from the heart, emotions of "bonding" as well, so that's excellent.

As for the last comment, don't view that you may fail, and therefore the next lady will have hit a "jackpot" with you... View it as you are.. You love the lady and you are getting her over her in-securites.
