I can go either way. When my husband wakes me up for sex, there's usually no kissing for two reasons. One, we both know our breath is horrible and don't want to inflict that on the other, and two, almost 100% of the time we have sex on our sides in a spooning position. But that's only first thing in the morning. Sex is pretty great when you're not fully awake. When he's on top there tends to be a lot of kissing. Most of the time for the passion but occassionally he just doesn't want the neighbors to hear me. When I'm on top I'll start kissing him when my legs get tired to keep the mood going while I give myself a little break. My favorite position is doggy style and he likes to kiss my back while doing that unless we're really "gettin it done". I agree with an above poster that sometimes kissing does take away my concentration on what's happening down below, so during foreplay I usually don't do kissing. Every now and then it's more about the passion than the actual act though, so there's a lot of kissing going on.

There's a big difference between love making and sex. Sometimes, I just feel like "getting laid" in which case I don't feel like kissing. Neither of us are upset by this fact as we know we're in love. Even if our lips never make contact during the act, afterwards there's always a long drawn out romantic kiss and plenty of cuddling.

I wish there was more kissing while we have sex but the size/height difference between us makes it a bit hard. Plus I think he has a hard time concentrating on more than one thing.

I do require kissing for foreplay though. Getting aroused without kissing is, like...really hard to do for me. I had to have a "more kissing please!!" chat with the boyfriend recently, actually.

Size difference? If you're shorter than he is, then why not get on top and take control? Just an idea.

Sometimes...depends on the position. If we are face-to-face, then yes, there is usually some kissing. Nothing too involved, most of the time...just kind of a quick, passionate kiss.

Kissing during sex is great - just be careful about chipping teeth if things get too energetic .

We both like it during a long, slow grind (less chance of the teeth clash you mention when it's like that). This is the most likely way for us to reach that wonderful simultaneous explosion. There is quite a hight difference between us which makes it slightly difficult to keep things deep at both ends so the following morning's stiffy can be in the neck rather than the groin.
