    Question Oily nose problem

On my nose it looks as tho my pores are really large and I can actually squeeze stuff out of them. I don't know if its oil or what it is, but its gross. Anyone know of anything that could help, I have used those nose strips that you pull of and its suppose to pull the oil out, yeah...that didn't work. I wash with soap hoping to somewhat dry the skin out but that hasn't worked either. Any ideas?? Thanks

Wish I knew because I have the same thing. I even tried a pore cleaner that was supposed to help. It hasn't helped. I have very oily skin, especially on my face.

I kinda agrr with mary jo.. But I would however use different products in different areas or you may end up with a vicious cycle. The dry parts do need a moisturizer, but completely oil free isnt for everyone, it depends on the individuals skin concerns. I tend to be more dry and need extra moisture all I can get really, and the toner should only be used for eccess oily skin or it may also dry you out. Toner is normaly a last resort my me to use on my clients.

It is natural to be able to "squeeze" the sebum out of your skin, but do not try to force something to come up your could seriously damage your skin.

If you have a salon/spa near your ask around for a Galvanic Treatment. It is a DC current that uses tiny currents going through two poles they simple slide one across your skin (properly) ONLY get this done by a trained professional. It is an electrical current.

But it will liquify the oils and dirt and raise it to the surface to simply be wiped clean if done correctly. It may take several treatmnts, like any skin issue it takes time and effort if you truely want your skin to be healthier.
