long story short .......so i was talking to this guy were i used to work. real sweet and cool to hang out with we took the friendship a lil far and he ended up being a complete jerk. He claims that the deal was all a fling and he didnt care but yet always left his friends and bars to be home with me. if it was all a fling and he didnt care much about the friendship and all then why would he give the title as his girlfriend to friends and family. I dont understand how a guy could do this! Do you think he might have been hurt that i left the state or he was getting attached?

not really enough detail, but based on the small thumbnail you provided, he may be acting that way as a way of protecting himself or you.

how long were you 2 seeing each other and why did you leave the state?

This sounds like one of the many male defense mechanisms. I do agree though that you didn't give enough detail...

Did you ever discuss your relationship status?
Did you talk about you leaving the state or was it sudden?

If it was sudden then I do think that he is trying to protect himself from being hurt.

How much did you care about him if you left the state? I'm kind of confused about why you are so upset now that you don't even live there.
