    Default Braces and stained teeth

I've got braces and the teeth at the front on the lower part are brownish, there's only a little bit of white at the top.

I try my best to clean them properly but the stain won't seem to go. I don't know when i'm getting my braces off but does anyone know anything in the mean time?

    Thank you!

My dentists told me that me teeth owuld always be stained from braces, even though I got them off years ago. The brackets cause your teeth to rot underneath, no amtter how well you brush. My dentists always said I had had very good brushing habits, but there was nothing I could do about the rotting under the braces. My teeth are still stained no amtter what, unless I get professional whitening.

My teeth were perfectly fine when I removed my braces. But, a little something I did to whiten the smile was using Crest White Strips. They cause A LOT of tooth sensitivity so just purchase Sensodyne toothpaste. This may or may not work for you.

I had braces that came off several years. At the time, my teeth are a yellow-ish color but they're not so bad now that the braces are off. I use standard whitening toothpaste to keep them looking reasonably good and always have a scale and polish at the dentists (every six months) which seems to get rid of the worst of the color. Once your braces are off, you can use whitening toothpaste and have the scale and polish and hopefully that will have an effect. Sorry that I can't suggest anything much in the meantime!

If you're going through problems before hand, I suggest you get it done and don't worry, as it really will help you in the long run
