oily skin..

I have MAJOR oily skin!!

Its so bad and gross!!!

I've tried apricot scrub, some nivea blackhead cleaner..uhm i've tried different kind of stuff and nothing is making it go away!!!

Its my nose, cheeks and forehead. The forehead has it the worse.

Help anyone??

BUt what is it that you are using? "for oily skin? " Blackhead cleaner has nothing to do with Oily skin.

did you ever try the clean nad clear oil absorbing sheets? they are little blue rectangular sheets you can take in yout purse and they dont mess up make up...its gross because they become almost transparent when you use them but they really do work and you can get them at any drug store

Also they are talc free which is obviously good for you..alot of similar products claiming to be more natural have talc...the ones that dont are the tea leave sheets from most higher end make up stores...they are a bit more pricey though...try the clean and clear first..they are like 5 bucks for 50 lol

Wash your face with rose water very often I hope you will get rid of your oily skin...

I have oily skin too, it's actually a blessing in disguise because it keeps the skin hydrated and not dryed up and cracking. But I know how you feel. I have been a guinea pig and have tried everything and found that you need to stay away from anything with witch hazel or alcohol - it's just not good for the skin period. I read books and discovered Paula Begoun. You can look her up. She has her own site where she sells her own products that are all natural. She tells you the good, the bad, and the ugly about other products and why one product is good or not. I have been using her stuff for years and I have beautiful, clear skin. People always approach me and ask me what I use and I'm happy to refer them to Paula. I will say that in the afternoon I just blot once with oil blotting papers and that does the trick - I'm not oily again for the rest of the day/night.

Here's my routine:
-I wash my face in the morning
-Use a moisturizer made for oily skin that has SPF 20
-Apply my make-up
*Around the middle of the day:
-I use my oil blotting papers (usually around my t-zone) and I'm set for the rest of the day

I hope you will look Paula up, it has been the best discovery for my skin and I have been a faithful user of her products for almost 7 years now.

you just have to avoid eating oily foods eat more on fruits..your body absorbs what you have given to it..so if you want a smooth skin...start from within--eat heathy!

Finding the right product will really help combat oily skin. And not every product that advertise they can control excessive oil can live up to its promise. Stay away from those that dries your skin. Our skin needs to be hydrated. Although oily skin does not feel dry, more often it is dehydrated. As a result, our oil glands keep producing oil thinking that our skin needs it. So my best advice:

1. Find a good facial wash/soap to cleanse the skin.
2. Find an oil-free moisturiser. The idea is to moisturise, not to put more oil.
3. Drink lots of water to keep the skin hydrated.
