or if the language is too difficult get lucky and meet someone who is multi lingual. I went backpacking around europe and did very well in england, france, spain and italy, but when it came to Greece we were lost!!! Luckily we met a lovely guy on the ferry and went to his island instead of the one we were going to go to and stayed in his lovely greek house. He took us around the village and to a few sites and translated everything. Oh and he cooked! He said he wanted to be a trophy husband one day, lol I'm sure he probably is by now.

I love to travel. I have been to many places in Europe but my favorite country in Europe is Italy. Friendly people, great food and good wine. I recently visited Venice which is very romantic; Florence and Pisa are also very beautiful. I hope to try Rome next time I get the chance.
My next big trip is Australia and New Zealand early next year. I fly to Sydney and will travel the Great Ocean Road to Adelaide via Melbourne. Then fly to New Zealand which I will spend a further 10 days. My accommodation for the duration of the trip is a camper-van with shower, cooker etc.
Any tips?
Have any of you been on a similar trip?
Where are the best places to visit in New Zealand?

My favorite travel spot is Virginia beach. I love how some of their hotels on the beach have like a full kitchen where you can cook your food. It's cheaper to go in winter time like after January 2nd. They have a hot tub in there so it's nice to sit in there after being out in the cold.
