i don't know how to get back into the rhythm of eating healthy. whats considered healthy eating? i eat what my man eats, man food. steak, cheese, mustard, LOTS of mayo. i don't know why mayo. i dunno. also i just lost my job and i am stuck at home how have you guys gotten started on in home work out? i have a large living room but dont know what to do???? i know this is a very loaded question but help?
Lots of fruits and vegetables along with lean protein (chicken or fish). Your plate should be colorful. Red and green peppers, carrots, broccoli, spinach, etc. Color = vitamins and minerals
While steak and potatoes have their place it's certainly not something that should be on the menu more than once or twice (tops) in a week.
It's hard though, I understand. Something about living with guys, they act like eating healthy isn't 'manly' and so you may be on your own with this. You can get 'Nutrition for Dummies' at your bookstore. It's full of good information and would be a good basic place to start.

thanks sounds easy enough but it gets harder when he's buying the groceries maybe i can start by snacking on fruit? and such. i usually snack on leftover steak!! that sounds bad. ok time to get my butt in gear!
Can't you go with him to the store? Ask him to pick up some baby carrots and some broccoli and snack on that instead. Have an apple and some sting cheese when you want a snack. Or whole wheat toast with peanut butter.
If you leave the cooking and shopping up to a guy you're going to get steak and potatoes for the rest of your life. There's so many other foods out there that are much better for you and taste so much better.

the store is next to his work and i have no money right now. its funny that you said baby carrots cuz right after your last message i sent him a text asking him to pick up some tangerines and baby carrots do you do any in home exercising?
I exercise almost every day. Is there a reason you can't leave the house?
Do you have cable TV? There are lots of workout programs on cable. What about going out for a jog?
