I really need advice. I am so scared right now.

I am 27 years old. I got my period normally at like 13 but for the first few years it was very irregular. Skipping months here or there. Then it began skipping for longer amounts of time and at around 17 it just stopped coming all together.

I have never been to a doctor about it before. I was actually planning on looking into seeing a doctor next month or so.

Anyways the problem.... About 2 weeks ago I started feeling very nauseous. It was nonstop all the time. It never went away just sometimes it was bareable and other times it was really bad. I never once threw up but I felt like I was about to all day long.

Quite a few people suggested I might be pregnant. I thought about it but I dont think I can so idk. I hadnt taken a test yet but was considering it.

Then this friday it was beginning to ease up alot I was feeling abit better. Then in the afternoon I started to get this sharp pain in my pelvic area. It was insane and I was just hunched over crying like a baby and couldnt do anything. It was going from an annoying painful cramping feeling to sharp intense I thought i would die pain.

I went to the bathroom and was bleeding like i was having my period, except it was very light pink. Obviously this was curious as I havent had one in so long. and i really dont think I should be in so much pain.

After tearful panic phonecalls to my mom and sis they thought maybe i was pregnant and had a miscarriage. Told me to go to the emergency room asap. I called my husband from work but when he got home I wasnt in as much pain and fell asleep without going to the doctor.

My insurence doesnt cover me going to the emergency room unless I am like dying literally and we just cant afford it. I dont have a normal doctor.

Today I wake up and am in the same amount of pain. I admit I am a baby when it comes to pain but at the same time it is so bad I can't do anything. I can barely eat and trying to read a book or even type this is just aweful to try and get through. I am still bleeding as well. At first it was just so little bit of blood it was only there when i went to the bathroom but none was ever in my underwear. But today I am bleeding more. Dark red and it was in my panties.

I am so scared. I dont know what to do.

Should I rush to the emergency room? Or should I just wait until tomorrow and try to call an obgyn and see if I can get in soon or ask them what I should do? (I wont be able to call until tomorrow)

I am gonna feel so stupid if I go to the emergency room and it turns out I am just having my period.

Either way can someone also give me some advice on what to expect from the doctors, what they will ask or do? I am very nervous. Thanks so much.,

ok it could be a miscarriage. even if you never have your period and/or you're on birth control. i've had a few ovarian cysts rupture...it runs in the family and my mom had symptoms just like this (as did i). in her case she waited then went to the emergency room. they said if she had waited any longer, she could have died or had serious complictions as far as future children (she was i think 22) the fact that you rarely have a period or never have one, makes me nervous. she also had cervical cancer.... i had the same problem but i went to the ER and they said what it was and said i was ok. if you start throwing up or urinating blood (watch it as it comes out) GO TO the ER!!! i know how you feel about not being able to afford it. so this may help with the pain:

lay in the bath when your man is home to watch you.direct the shower at your abdomen and vagina and use a hot cloth on your abdomen as well. make sure the water is very hot though.

drink mint tea or suck on a peppermint disk to help with the nausea.

lay on your back as much as possible.

    breath slow and deep.

make sure your man watches you all day and all night. don't drive yourself anywhere (not that you could)

    call the OBGYN ASAP

when you go to see a doctor, recline the passenger seat and lay on your left side you'll feel a little better

try to pin point exactly where it hurts. what side how low or high. document exalty when and how it started. maybe have your guy apply light pressure to diff parts of your stomach to see what hurts the most (i know that doesn't sound great but...) this will help your doc ALOT! good luck let me know what hapens.

You didn't have your period for 10 years and you never saw a doctor about it? Seriously?

Honestly, pain or no pain (and sounds like you're in a lot of pain) go to the doctor. Something is obviously not right.
