    Question The Need to Change

I know we all want to look good. If I have a fairy godmother, I'd wish that look 'better'. But today's trend is more on changing the way we look to make us more beautiful or if we were beautiful once, to make us young and beautiful again.

Is there a reason for this? A fear that drives us to cheat our real age?

    One word? Media.

We see product after product advertised in magazines, tv, we see women with botox in their lips, almost every second actress... We see breast enlargements in nearly every second person via the media..

It stands to reason that we are being "brainwashed" haha.. Yep.

It's a money making machine.... And, it's aimed at getting to us women sub-consciously... so that we spend our money to look beautiful.

But, as you know, beauty is in the beholder....

Be a sheep, or be yourself..

I know which one I am.

The fear of not being able to measure up to society's standards, that's why we become easy target for these manufacturers who want to sell their products.

or sometimes, they create products specifically for the available market, which is us -- and our desire to stay beautiful and youthful-looking.

sometimes, it makes me wonder. do they really stumble upon the elusive fountain of youth and are just too eager to show/sell it to us?

or it's the other way around: 'hey, there's a big market for women who crave for anti-aging products. let's create a product that we can sell to them'?
