I totally agree. I've gone from 161 to 147 lbs in a matter of weeks. I have just been exercising more and moving more. Eating little meals thruout the day instead of three big meals and working on portion control.
Hey everyone...
I recently went through a life alter....and I seem to be dropping weight like crazy.
What I do is this:
For a super good, sweet snack...I eat frozen fruit. My favourite is frozen raspberries....I also drink a LOT of iced green tea, and fish.
Go with fruits that are very colorful...those are very potent anti-ageing foods! Same with Blackberries, broccoli, walnuts, almonds...the list goes on. Try to stick to the foods that are anti-oxid.
Try not to work out in the AM...unless you go to bed at like...9 pm. Try to get at LEAST 8 hours of sleep, that will help.
Also, I had smaller meals...about 6 times a day....and it worked....
DRINK WATER....cut out soda....seriously...if you want a sweet drink...go for a juice of somesort.
ALSO...you dont need to exercise like a madman...or madwoman, lol
What I did was really easy...I became a kid again! I enjoyed squimching my toes in the sand...and playing with my dogs.
exercise does NOT have to be a chore, so do not make it one...try vacuuming really good, or organizing a closet!!!!

It works AMAZINGLY!!! In a month, I dropped 25 pounds!!
This seems to be an easy diet.
Are you familiar with the atkins diet?
No...I've heard of it....but thats about it!
i think the atkins diet focuses on the protein intake and not so much on carbs...
...i could be wrong...but you DO need carbs and can't depend solely on protein. your body uses the carbs to do everything. i think keeping a balanced diet is key as well.
Carbs are the BEST for your body...it is the FASTEST source of energy. Complex carbs (like whole grains) will give you an energy boost that will last for hours. Fats are a good source of energy, but it takes more energy for your body to break that down to....correct me if Im wrong...amylase and lipase??
I think thats the correct terminology. Carbs are pretty much already broken down, so it doesnt take a lot of energy.
