Anyone know a good place to buy adipex online? My doctor will not prescribe it to me. I am in Hot Springs AR. My current weight is 195 but my weight should be 135 to 140. Although I am working out three times a week and have changed my diet I still seek assistance from adipex for increasing energy and a better control on my eating habits. Any information is helpful! Thanks!

Amy is there a medical reason your doctor doesn't want to prescribe them to you? If so its probably in your best interest not to seek out other versions of the drug that may or may not be available without a script.

I'm sure your doctor wants you to lose weight for your health so if he won't prescribe them , he/she must have a reason to think they are not right for you. Many weightloss drugs interact with other medications or are not good for people with certain pre-exsisting conditions... be sure to figure out why he won't prescribe them, for your safety matters most.

No my health is good, I am not on any meds for anything. I have not had any health issues since my pregnancies and my last child is 9 years old. He said he would rather me continue with my work out plan and the change in my diet rather than prescribe a magic pill. I have tried over the counter diet pills with little result, he has never tested me for thyroid or any other conditions that might contribute to my weight gain.

Most tablets change the heart beat, at 195, that's dangerous, listen to your Doctor and try exercises and a correct eating pattern for a while....

Most people think these things are "quick fixes" and you don't have to exercise, and it will decrease your appetite and wallah, you've lost weight, nothing works that way, you have to exercise, you have to eat correct food, not simply less.

    Why waste your money?

Having lost a significant amount of weight myself , after spending many years thinking I couldn't do it... I've got to agree with CW. People always say they will do ANYTHING to lose weight, but many see eating less and moving as way too simple of a concept to actually work, yet it does.

Starving yourself, pills that make you not have an appetite are a bandaid. They won't fix the problem long term as you will eventually have an appetite again, eventually need to eat. Learning what to eat and how much and incorperating an exercise routine that burns calories is the most effective way to lose weight.

There are a million diets on the market, a million pills and a million work-out machines but the basis for ALL and everything that contributes to actual weight loss is simply put: eat less calories , burn more calories. 3500 calories in one pound of fat. Create a deficit daily through excerise and only the amount of calories your body needs and the weight will come down.

You also might want to consider getting a new doctor if the one you have isn't willing to run tests that you consider important to your health.

The order I got gave me a headache, the yawns, and I ate the same. There was no reaction to the medication. I have been going to the gym three times a week to work out and have changed my eating habits to mainly, chicken, fresh veggies and fish. I drin mainly water as I used to drik soda's all day long. Now I rarely have a soda and if I do I dont usually drink the entire can. My request for the pills was to jump start my weight loss as I would continue my exercise and new diet routine because for me I see it as a change in life. I can not expect to take a magic pill only to realize that in the end it was for a temporary fix, I completely understand that in order to keep weight off diet change and exercise routine are necessary for long term success.

It sounds like you are off to a really good start Amy. I think dedication is the most important thing. Realizing that this is within your power to achieve what you want with your body is next. I spent so many years feeling like it would just be too hard and I had too much to lose, trying diets not seeing the weight come off and giving up, falling into worse eating habits than before.

Don't give up. If you are lowering your calories and exercising the weight WILL start to come off. Our bodies are weird and sometimes the pounds fall off people right away then slow down closer to goal, and some people the bodies are stubborn at first then the pounds melt a way later.

Stay strong, stay hopeful and know that you can be where you want to be exactly by this time next year (and likely way before that) just by changing your lifestyle which it sounds like you are already doing. It took me that line of logic to finally get me motivated.. I had so much to lose and thought.. it will take too long to do this the hard way: then I realized.. I am not doing anything else but wasting time anyway, days and weeks and months are going by whether I am losing weight or not. So a year from now I can be at the weight I want, or exactly as I am - Its up to me.

I've lost well over 100 pounds through diet and exercise and am coming close to my 2 full year keeping it off. Godwilling, I manage to continue as I have but its one day at a time for anyone thats ever had weight issues.

Okay ladies I got my order yesterday, I took one just to see if it would work since the last two were duds and it worked out okay. I was sick at first but that was because I took it without eating anything and went straight to the gym. So today I took one this morning and they curb my appetite some dont make me jittery but my mouth is so dry! I guess it is going okay so far. I am starting out at 192 my goal weight is 140 wish me luck!
