Two weeks ago I had my first injection of the HPV Cervical Cancer Vaccine. They are encouraging all women aged from 12-18years to get it done by giving it out free at schools and doctors clinics so I had mines done. But, a couple of days after I had the injection I noticed that my right arm (Had the injection in my left arm) was kind of swollen and sore to touch. I thought nothing of it but over the past week, ive had the same problem with my left shin. Its that bad that I am currently walking with a limp and im finding it hard to walk up and down stairs. I also have been having pains in my stomach ever hour or so at my lower stomach which is like a period pain but this has been happening for over a week. Do you think this is related to me having the vaccine or just a coincidence that it has all happened at the same time? I have not injured my leg or arm, the pain just came and started getting worse. I dont want to rush to the doctors to be told that its nothing, so I though I would ask you guys opinion. Has anyone else had the vaccine? Did you have any side effects? If so, what were they? Your advice would be really appreciated! Thanks!![]()
Go to the Doctor, you may be allergic to something within that vaccine.
Don't risk it ..
