I have the WiiFit and it is a lot of fun, the games are good and really get you moving. I would also recommend "My Fitness Coach" on the Wii which is excellent and you don't need the Wii board for that

my wii fit experience
Yes, I have a wii fit. I got it about 2 months ago, and I still use it every day. There are a couple of things I like about it. The wii fit board is very sensitive (almost too sensitive) and responsive. I go into all 4 major sections (yoga, strength training, aerobics and balance games), but I always start with the aerobics. My favorite is the rhythm boxing, and I wish the next level would unlock, but I'm only at the 20 minute level right now. I also like the running, and use the free run either 20 or 30 minutes while I'm watching other tv. I use the step aerobics less often because there are not many levels, and I sometimes use the hula hoop.
But here's what I really like about it: I'm trying to lose weight the old fashioned way, that is, eat less and exercise more. The Wii Fit is very helpful in that you can keep track of your BMI (body mass index) and weight, and it charts your progress. It even scolds you if you miss a day. But what I've found is that because it tracks to 2 decimal points on the BMI, you can see even very gradual progress much better than you can with a regular bathroom scale. So now my goal is 1 lb. per week, and I don't get discouraged because I can track tenths of a lb. with my Wii Fit. I'm going strong after two months and 8 lbs. lost, and I have better balance, feel stronger, more flexible, better endurance, all the stuff they say you get with exercise. If that sounds like it would work for you, get it. If you're looking for a more rigorous workout, you'll be disappointed. I'm waiting for a more serious workout in future.

I bought the Wii Fit in the beginning of November. Using that since and watching very closely what I eat, I have lost 40lbs in the 4 months.
