Cleaning your system of toxins is what the kidneys are for. A cheaper way is Prune Juice and Cranberry Juice. If you want to clean yourself, eat fiber. That's about it.
I've had this product in my cupboard for years and have never really tested it out (the drink was so horrible I quit the first day!). It's primarily used to cleanse the system of toxins etc, but it also has a weight loss benefit. I'm just curious if anyone else has used this product and if it did you any good? I'm thinking I should get some use out of this investment but dont want to hassle with the horrible taste if it doesnt work! Also, if anyone HAS used it, do you have any suggestions as far as making the drink more bearable? Thank you!![]()

Thank you for your reply - I will definitely check those sites out. However, I figured why not since it was already in my cupboard haha. I've never really had too much trouble with being 'regular', but just figured it might be good for me. I was a vegetarian for years and still do get PLENTY of fiber, but again, I didnt figure it could hurt. Again, I'll check out those sites as well![]()
I checked out those articles and found them to be quite interesting. Although I am curious - they mentioned how bacteria was good (I get that) but the people on the testimonials experienced worms coming out of their bodies. To me, that doesnt sound like a very good thing to have swimming around your bodyAlso, the individuals experienced some pretty extreme weight loss in certain instances without really changing their diet. If it is just the clay ingredients expanding and fecal matter surrounding it, then they shouldnt be losing extra weight or inches...? I'm not trying to argue with your answer - just curious!

The main ingredients are: Psyllium Husk, Flax Seed, Alfalfa, Guar Gum, Fennel Seed, and Aloe Vera.
So it would make me sick because I'm allergic to Aloe. But it's not toxic for most other people, hehe. If you already have a high fiber diet, you probably wont see much change in terms of weight because it's basically fiber.
Don't worry about your colon collecting whatnots over the years. Your colon is coated in mucus to prevent things from "sticking" to it for very long. At worst you'll get backed up due to lack of fiber. And if you suffer from some kind of parasitic infection and start seeing worms in the toilet, see a doctor because this wont cure it!
Anyway, you have it and as long as you're not allergic to any of the ingredients, try it and let us know how it goes.
I didnt even know you COULD be allergic to aloe! haha its so good for you!Anyhow - I usually 'go' about once a day or every other day... which to me seems normal. But I thought it was worth a shot. I just started on a new medication and I'm a little worried that this will flush out the medicine im taking and make it ineffective. Any thoughts? If it wont interfere (the website said it wouldnt... of course
) I'd like to start taking it now, but if not I think i'll give it a few months til I'm off the medication.
Oh yeah, I used to use aloe for sunburns too and didn't know that the aloe was just increasing the burn. It wasn't until I tried this other cream that had aloe in it when I realized that the morning after burn that I normally experience with sunburns was actually the aloe I was trying to treat it with!
I even drank something with aloe in it once, some kind of nutrient drink. I swore that it was spiked with alcohol because it felt like brandy on the way down. They even showed me the bottle in which I read the ingredients ... and asked for some Benadryl.
As for your meds, you should ask your pharmacist or doctor about that particular medication. Typically, meds are absorbed before digested. But ask to be sure.
