I’m writing because I am at my wits end. I work and work but my pants are always tight. I go to the gym 5-6 days a week. My schedule is as follows:
Mon- 45 min of spin 45 min of weights
Tues- step interval / 45 min of walking and jogging on the treadmill.
Wed- 45 min spin / 1 hr of weight training plus swimming with the kids
Thurs- 1hr of cardio + ½ hr of pilates
    Fri 1 hr of kickboxing
Sat- 1 hr of step + 45 min of weights
Sun- gardening cleaning (A sort of around the house aerobics)
I eat relatively healthy I eats bread carbs with lunch( whole wheat pita pocket) dinner (couscous)and one snack( children’s organic Z bar). The rest are lean meats fruits and veggies. I can get off track on the weekend Friday is pizza day (2 slices) and sat dinner can be a mess ( this week it was Chinese) Other than that I try t eat well.
I have been tested and at one point they discovered a underactive thyroid the next test was normal. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Please help me I can’t go through another summer wearing jeans.

someone suggested to me..and i shall suggest to you. try a calorie counter. I'm using one from live strong..google a calorie counter and it takes a while but maybe you are consuming too many calories for your day to lose weight. it really helped me. I thought i was eating healthy and when i totaled it all up the first few days and what i did during my day for exercise it made sense.

also eating little things all day instead of regular meals helps boost metabolism. It seems you are doing everything right just take care of loose ends or things you may have never thought of.

also I read a book called eat right for your blood type. Its been out for a while. It seemed to help me. I guess my stomach doesn't like meat. I should be vegetarian and when I switched to soy based products and boca burgers instead of meat my tummy got smaller. It helped with gas and bloating and all sorts of things i never even thought of.

And another big thing. increase your water intake. it really helps. I cut out sugars and High Fructose Corn Syrup and started drinking water and i lost 3 lbs in a week from that alone.

I drink 9 glasses of water a day now.

Check out the Flat Belly Diet, It uses mono unsaturated fats to help you lose belly fat. It's a cookbook as well as a diet guide. Another good book to check out is The Women's Advantage Diet, it's been out for a while butshows you how to use your body's hormonal changes to your advantage. You have to find what fits your life style and needs. But you can do it, sounds like you are really dedicated.

definitely use a calorie calculator. If you are eatting too many calories OR not enough calories you won't be losing weight. If you aren't eatting enough calories with all the exercise you do, your body is storing some of that for the future b/c its in starvation mode (even if you don't feel hungry). Believe me I wasn't even making my minimum 1200 calories a day & sometime still have a hard time doing that, then when you exercise you are given more calories to eat. I use a really great calorie calculator that you can adjust the percentage of carbs/proteins/fats you eat a day or you can put your weight, your goal weight, and your height in there & it will tell you how many calories you should eat & how much of them should be carbs/proteins/fats. Make sure you put your foods in there everyday, even on cheat days so you can get used to how much you should be eatting. Also since you are working out you should definitely be eatting every 2-3 hours. Are you drinking lots of water?
