How to get rid of Acne scars?

Hey gurls, I have read about some natural acne scars treatment, thus I want to share it with you.

Mild acne scars can be treated effectively with natural acne scar treatment. Try the following tips to get rid of acne scars the natural way.

1. Sandalwood is very effective in treating acne scars. Mix it with some rosewater and apply it to the scars. Leave it on overnight and wash it off in the morning.

2. Rub ice cubes on the face to tighten the pores.

3. Cut a tomato in half and rub it on your skin.

4. Use cucumber juice as a toner.

5. Raw garlic is a very effective acne blemish treatment.

6. Take turmeric internally or make it into a paste and apply it to the skin.

7. Sage and Aloe Vera have healing properties. Apply Aloe Vera directly to the skin. Seep sage in hot water, cool and then apply.

8. Apple cider vinegar is good for clearing up spots. Use in place of a toner.

I new about the Raw garlic being very effective acne blemish treatment bt the cucumber is a new one for me and I will try it

in india we use paste of mustard seeds.....apply it overnight and wash it off . it works

how about scar from accident? any suggestion to wipe the scar?

Try Fuller's Earth or French Green clays...you can order them online (just make sure it's a reputable site). You mix it with water and make a mask/paste. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes, and repeat a couple of times a week.

I have VERY fair skin, and had bad acne scars. I used Fuller's Earth for about a month and most of my scars lightened or went away completely.

Be warned---clays suck up the oil in your skin, so don't use them too often or they can dry you out!

quite late but i just want to share that i noticed my friend having less visible acne scars. she has been on a cream for quite some time already and i think she was patient enough to wait. anyway, i just discovered that there are scar lightening creams. i think the name of her cream is Metaderm, the scar lightening variant. so there.

I just came across a home therapy, it requires a pack of tomato and sandalwood paste..But I find more illustrated ways here..never knew ice cubes heals acne scars..great..thanks..

Acne scars aren't technically scars at all. They are hyper pigmentation which is why using scar creams typically doesn't help. Look for products with hydroquinone or kojic acid, which will help with hyper pigmentation. And remember to wear sunscreen because increased sun exposure can make hyper pigmentation worse. Well, I don't really know any remedies for them, but I know staying out of the sun helps. Hope this stuff will be useful.
