    Red face Laser treaments

My daughter is suffering horribly from excessive facial hair and I would like to ask if anyone else has had laser treatments? Is it painful? Is it very expensive? How many treatments do you need? Any info would be great as I'm out of ideas as to what to do. Thanks

okay i've never had laser, but as a young woman i also suffered with a lot of thick black facial hair, which was really prominent against my fair olive skin. i had needle electrolosis with a beautician. it was painful and took a few treatments but the hair stopped growing back. they use a disposable needle and its all good, sorry i cant help with the laser. how old is your daughter, have you had her checked out with a doctor, maybe its a medical problem?

I have had laser hair removal on my bikini and despite what they might like to tell you it is incredibly painful, but then again waxing is not so pleasant either. You usually need between 6-8 treatments. It is expensive but incredibly well worth it and would be by far the best alternative. It works best when the hair is dark and skin is light because it picks up the pigment in the hair follicle and kills it, it is not so good for light hair though.

I had laser done on my face, but she wasn't very experienced. And I should have gone to someone who was. It wasn't expensive for the session, but I kept needing more. The hair was coming back longer! and thicker! So I ended up spending a ton of money for something that made my face worse.

So I went to my docotor to talk to her about my problem, and she had the same problem. She recommended I look for someone with lost of experience. And a laser machine called "Sharplen epi touch" She said after 3 session her hair was gone. and it has been for 15 years.

For now I just bleach, I am still looking for someone who might use that machine.

Laser isn't good, go for electrolysis.
