new to the pill

i just started the pill, may 6th, and i was suppose to get my period may 7th. (today) and i didnt. i was wondering if its because of the pill i took yesterday. i had sex march 31st, uprotected, but when i got my period April
7th i figured i wasnt pregnant. im not sure what to do. help?

You can be a day late or two but who told you to start the pill when your period is due?

You are only mean't to start the pill when your period has finished.

Or say on the 7th day, of your period..
