Well here is my first chance to ask a very personal question. I am 62 and for about a year or more I have noticed lighter skin around my vulva and labia areas. I have been itching like a mad hatter, mostly at night, the skin is not white or dark, it is just a different skin color, like my face color . is skin discoloration a common thing later in life. does anyone else share this and where could I see some images to help me diagnose. I am a healthy, married, sexually active woman with no history of female problems. I took flagyl last week and the itching stopped, but as soon as I was done about three days later the itching started again. i use a estrodial pill vaginally, does not seem to help the itching. Thanks for any info.
Alot of things change about our skin as we get older.
Welcome to the Forum.. Perhaps Flagyl isn't the total answer for your problem but seems to kill it for a few days.
As much as we hate going to a Doctor, perhaps in this regard you should seek professional advise..
Perhaps as your still very active sexually, you've changed lube? Or, you are not as moist when he enters as you used to be?
