Good thing you are going to get it checked. From what I understand based on a conversation with a doc a few yrs ago, breast lumps are usually not visible, which is wny you have to feel for them. A neighbor of mine just found a lump and got checked, it turned out to a lump of fatty tissue from having had a bruise a few months ago. Chances are you'll be fine but it's always best to be sure.

    Hi Porcha,
Just saw your concern. I can completely understand the stress as I also
have a lump (initially I thought). Now my doctor told me there are three. Am going for biopsy today.

Whatever outcome, do drop a note. Hopefully, I can lend you a little bit of support.

    Take care.

I was in your shoes. I found a lump in my right breast and went to my gyn and he referred me to another doctor who specializes in the breast. I found out it was a tumor and not a cyst. I just had surgery on Friday to have the tumor removed. Thank God it was benign. I go back next week for a follow-up and to go into more details about it. Not sure how spirtual you are, but i just stayed in prayer no matter what. Heaven forbid it would have been cancerous i was not going to let it win. But please do not hesistate to see a doctor, that is what they are there for.

I had a lump in my breast about a year and a half ago. It felt about the size of a acorn. It was very sore to the touch as well. I had it removed and everything was fine. From what I've heard from my doctor is they are usually somewhat common and are fluid filled cyst.
