    Today I have had:

Bowl of Special K with Red Berries
Cup of Ham and Lentil Homemade Soup
2 Mikkado's (those new like biscuit stick things lol)

not sure what is for dinner yet until I get home and see what mother offers x

Be honest...I have been eating no carbs and today I was 5 pounds lighter and I started this 2 weeks ago...no exercise as yet! Impressive but no doubt itll go back up again in no time lol x

*sigh* i think im having a problem now with the pills im taking....i no longer want to eat anything at all and i think i have officially psyched myself into thinking that absolutely anything i put in my stomach will make me gain back the weight i have just recently lost. this is what i have had to eat today:

    half an orange for breakfast

about 11:30am i had a small handful of grapes

about 3pm i had another small handful of grapes...

about 9pm i ate the other half of my orange.

drank today....more water than i can remember.

no bueno now im worried for myself a bit

Oh dear... that is seriously fantastic that you wrote this to us, but so wrong.

Okay, what you need is a diet to work with that you can feel comfortable with, your kind of going, "no fat, no calories, i am desperate"....

It's your mind more so than the tablets effecting you not to feel hungry, or else, you'd have a slice of cheese or an egg, something with more protein.

Can we start with what foods you do like to eat that you know you can eat?

And, if you like I'll write back a 5 week food plan..

I am not an expert but I am 46 and I have kept my weight to Australian size 10-12 all my life and can be a 10 with the snap of my fingers (8) i look sick.... probably 6 -8 in your language...

Next otherwise, you'll be licking salami and throwing it to the cat, (only joking)...

You will however, lose so much energy and feel sick soon.

    Not good darlin.

i know i know. it was the weirdest thing and i have noticed it over the past maybe 10/12 days. actually i think it was when i put on a pair of jeans i hadnt been able to fit in 3 maybe 4 years i was so happy about it but it was kind of like a panic set in...oh my god im going to gain it all back....i even slowed down on the gum i was chewing because the label says each stick is 5 calories...i sooo know thats not me...im a puerto rican/italian woman...we like us some food lol.

    lmfaolicking the salami!!

if i told you that most of the food i love is just flat out not good for me then believe it. if it wasnt fried, smothered, battered, creamed, dipped in something or covered in bbq sauce i wouldnt eat it. the last time i actually ate a salad b4 i started dieting was years ago.

so ok lets see now what i will not eat at all and maybe we could try something from there?

i dont eat any kind of seafood (even tuna fish)
im allergic to onions and peppers.

everything else im game to try.
    thanx for the help

I get that bit.. But, if you think about it, you should be "rewarding yourself" for getting yourself there, whooo hooo... You know if you think about something else not food that you've succeeded in, you'll probably find you have never, ever, gone back either.

I think most will agree, that you "have" to have the naughty food once a week, or else you feel like you've given up so much so if you get yourself into a routine that says, say, Sundays I can have half a fried piece of chicken and bbq sauce and after 2 pieces of chocolate, you'll probably feel better.

And, in the meantime write a 6 day planner, breakfast, snacks, lunch, dinner to the amount of say 2200 calories maximum, and make sure it's not the same every day, rotate that for a month, to get yourself into the pattern and watch the energy come back as well...

    So things like:-

egg whites (no yolk), omlette with mushroom sliced and 1/2 tomato, salt and pepper with 1 piece of wholemeal bread, lightly spread with cream cheese.

    Or:-

1 boiled egg with 1 piece of wholemeal bread, 1/2 teaspoon of butter

    Or:-

Boiled mushrooms sliced, and 1 small cube feta cheese, crumbled over it, on 1 piece of wholemeal toast

    Or:-

Sliced rockmelon with thin low fat ham wrapped around the middle of each piece, x 3 pieces.

    Or:-

    Porridge

    Or:-

Saltana Bran, skim milk and 1/2 banana on top.

Snacks:- a small cup of peaches with two tablespoons of natural yoghurt.
mixed raw vegetables, carrots, celery, cucumber, sticks
    a handleful of nuts 7 - 10 only
    a banana
cut up apple, with lemon squeezed over it
    cup of jelly no cream

Lunch:- Wholemeal wrap with "salad" sucked in, haha, chicken breast no skin, olives if you like them, cut (2).

small bowl of pasta with fresh tomato and basil, with a salad

wholemeal salad sandwiches with thin slice ham

tzazicki dip with 1/2 cucumber and a piece of wholemeal pita bread

    Dinner:-

It's the sauces that we have trouble with, so use lemon juice and herbs as an alternative, soy and lemon juice for salad dressings, tomato based sauces instead of cream and garlic on greens instead of butter and oyster sauce...

No more than 200grms of meat
Chicken - grill it with lemon and herbs
Whole large mushrooms - with sliced ham, salt & pepper, tomato and 1 tablespoon of lite cream, which you add once the mushroom has cooked.

Now that I have your thoughts going over what you can eat, what else do you like cause then we can add to the above, to make up a 6 day plan...

I work in retail and don't have a good break for food. For dinner I have had a bowl of Mexican rice and tuna(my own recipe). Not a bad day but I am going to start getting up early and make a good breakfast!!

so i wrote down every single thing i had today so that i could know where i stood at the end of the day. i knew my body wasnt getting enough protein thats for definate.

so around 10:30am i had a "pure protein" bar. (180 calories 0.5g fat 19g protein)

    1:45pm ish i had a "pure protein shake" (100 calories 2.3g fat 21g protein)

    2:30pm ish i had 4 strawberries

5:15pm i had another protein bar (same calorie count as above bar)

6:30 i had a turkey, cheese, mayo sandwich (1 piece of fat free cheese (15 calories), 2 slices of lean turkey (30 calories), light mayo (25 calories) whole wheat bread (100 calories for 2 slices)

nothing but water throughout the day though. i had a half a cup of sprite on sunday and almost immediately i was thirsty again...now i get it...i didnt back then ya know?

so that roughly adds up to 650 calories. which i know is still at least half of what i should take in on a daily basis but believe me its more than 2x as much as what i have been taking into my body in recent days so its definately a start.

i have to say though i truly felt a little better when exercising today. my back wasnt hurting as much as it has been and my legs dont either. i am doing my best to find a happy medium something i can be content with.

im not thrilled about the small meals throughout the day though to be honest. even when i wasnt dieting at all i didnt shove food constantly in my mouth either...i would only eat once or twice a day...only now do i realize that those two meals or snacks in between had MASSIVE amounts of calories in both the servings and the fat...along with the cans upon cans of soda i would consume a day
