Unhappy Please Help. Soreness, Dryness, Itchyness? Why?

Hello. I am 18 years old. Still a virgin. I have a long distanced boyfriend, so obviously I do not have sex with him. The most "sex" I get is phone sex. (Some people will probably laugh at that, =] I do not care. It is their own ignorance and stupidity, in my opinion.) Okay, so phone sex is what I have and I obviously touch myself.

In the last couple of days, I have noticed that my vagina has been dry. I also noticed that the inner lips are slightly itchy and feel sore. That area feels hot and when I go to touch myself it is quite irritable. I have that feeling where I want to have sex, I feel turned on; however, my vagina seems to be "turned off", if that makes sense.

I do shave down there about every three days or so. I know that shaving does indeed cause irritation, but I'm not sure if that is the total reason to why I feel the way I do.

Masturbating seems to hurt, (I only use one finger. Personal reasons.) there is a slight burn, seems sore, and I do not get 'wet'. Please help me, could I possibly have an infection of some sort? =[

    Thank you.

Hey.. have you tried waxing istead of shaving? It lasts about two weeks and you don't get that itchy sensation that you get after 2 days when you shave.

If you are into antibiotics it might be that because they shift your vaginal flora, which makes you feel sore and itchy.

In my opinion is the shaving part that is causing you a problem... i mean every 3 days you must be crazy! i'be been there and i switched to wax lol

    hope it helped!

Rubbing yourself, when dry can cause thrush, look it up, itchiness, dryness, sore, all makes sense.

Tell a Chemist you want a cream or tablet for thrush, these days 1 tablet and cream gets it gone in 1 day.

Long distance? I get that, I am in that, but if that is all it is? sexual ? think twice, certainly not my makeup...

That's not a relationship but certainly way part of one.

    Just not the all...

    ChandlersWish.

My relationship is definitely not just a full fledged sexual relationship. I only brought that up to stretch the fact that I do not have sex or anything. That is all. He and I love eachother completely and basically tall about everything.

    The masturbation process hardly happens.

Anyway, I noticed that a day after I posted this, my lolvaginal area became "normal" again. Meaning...it was no longer red or sore.
