Default what do i use to get my hair back to what it use to be?!?!?

Over the past couple years I have put my hair through and back! Its been dyed several times and I have to use a straightener daily because it is so frizzy. So now my hair is so dead and lifeless and very very brittle. I've heard to leave my condition on longer so I started doing that but nothing. I've bought hot oil treatments, de-frizzers, shine spray, just everything that I could find and nothing is seeming to help! I've even considered shaving it to just grow it all over again but I wouldnt look very cute bald so does anyone have any suggestions? Or products that might work????? thank you

Firstly, stop dying your hair and let it grow back natural.

Secondly, treatments, hot oils need to be on-going not once offs, and leaving a little conditioner in your hair without washing it out also helps.

Try blowdrying a few curls instead of straighteners and don't blow dry the bottom as you brush through and dry, go 3/4 only, it's the ends that get all funny and dry out more so, the top is new growth...

Put your hair up and go section by section as you are drying, instead of turning your head upside down for-instance and drying the whole lot at once, that will actually help it look straighter as well, without using the tongs, (I know, I use them as well but now by drying it bit by bit instead, i really don't need to).

    Hope that helps

kpak is good they have a reconstructing treatment that will help your hair. when you use it leave it in and let your hair dry naturally if you or use blow dryer. use very little cause it goes a long way.

I say get a really short cut from a good salon, let it grow and you will be surprised at the results! It beats shaving it all off!!
Use a good shampoo and condition it only a couple of times a week. Too much conditioner tends to make hair oily. Skip the dryer and the straightener and let it dry naturally. And stop dying it until it gets healthy!
    Good luck!

    Here are some tips:
Once a week: Kerastase Oleo - Relax Masque
Kerastase Aqua - Oleum Instant Treatment
Wash Your hair with any Nutritive shampoo and conditioner ( I recommend Kerastase Oleum but it might be too expensive)
Apply Kerastase Nutritive Serum Oleo-Relax to towel dried hair and then dry by parts like CW said.

my hair is an in great condition and tends towards the frizzy, so i just put a serum on it, to calm down the frizz and turns into nice waves!

I'm a hairstylist, and I have clients come in on a daily basis wishing they hadn't gone down the long road of chemical services. Like you, they wish their hair was back to good health! I can tell you a system that salons nationwide are performing on their clients to give their hair new life! It is called the Coppola Keratin Smoothing System. Everyone's hair has a healthy Ph level, and when you are constantly doing chemical treatments on your hair, your natural level gets destroyed. So what your hair needs to get back to its healthy Ph level is KERATIN! It's hair protein,it builds the strength and elasticity back up in your hair shaft. The Coppola System is HEALTHY for your hair, and it smoothes and relaxes your hair for up to 6 months (depending on how much you wash). Find a good salon who performs the Coppola System, and see for yourself the wonderful results. It cuts drying and straightening time down in less than half the time. Your basically FRIZZ FREE!!!

there's nothing wrong with going bald...men do it all the time! lol jk!

anyway...there's nothing wrong with NOT DOING ANYTHING. let it grow out. I agree with Karent. Get a cute hair cut that fits your face; and let everything grow and heal on its own. I think we sometimes forget that going au natural can be actually good for us.

I wash my hair about every 2 or 3 days. and let it air dry. I don't put anything but the occasional anti-frizz, and that I use sparingly.
