I had one7 years ago when I was 23. It did not hurt nearly as bad as I thought it would. They gave me Vicodin but I only needed it for about 2 days. It just feels like your tight and swollen not really painful. Its a little hard to sleep at first, I slept in a recliner for three or four nights. It was a few weeks before I could sleep on my stomach again.

Your so young, I'm sure the day will come that you want to have kids. You should consider waiting untill after that. Even if you think you don't want to breast feed, your breasts change so much through out pregnancy.

What kind of implants do you have. I've been thinking about getting them. I'm looking into smooth saline round, but I don't know anyone that has them.

Definitly not trying to take anyone from this board. But (google) justbreastimplants..

It has a really great forum to answer questions for those who are looking to have surgery. People also tell their stories on there. Talk about their recovery, what size they opted for etc. Before I had my implants I lived on that board! I trully felt more comfortable with the whole process having all those people to answer my questions!

I would not take this step at 18 years old. I have had mine done (early 30's) and am really happy that I did. At 18 your body is changing so much that if you do it now, your going to need them adjusted after kids if you have them, or later on as they begin to drop with age (natural) it will be even more odd with the implants. Unless you have unlimited resources to redo them again maybe one or two more times in the future not to mention enduring the pain of it all. At least wait until your 20's for your breasts to settle in more to their shape.

While you may not grow in volume any more, the position on your body, weight gain/loss all of that will have an effect on the result.

Bottom line is do what makes you happy, if you are healthy enough for the surgery and your surgeon (i'd see 3 at a minimum) determains your body is done growing for certain before you do something that will need corrections down the road.

I think it's a good idea, don't listen to what people say, false boobs are really nice.

Well, in my opinion I wouldnt do it, at least not at this age. I haven't had implants, quite the opposite - I had a breast reduction. However, the procedure is quite similar. Getting implants or a reduction can really affect breastfeeding once you decide to have children, and a lot of people find their breasts change shape/size with age and pregnancy. Just my $0.02. Wait a little longer to see if you change and still want to do it.

When I was 18 my breast were a 32AA, I am 24 now and my breast are a 36B. I have always wanted bigger breast but I am glad I didn't get implants because my body is still changing even when I thought it was done. I think of it this way...I mine as well wait a few more years until after I have kids (I have waited this long whats a couple more?) for when my boobs might not be looking so great anymore. Atleast that way I know I am done growing, and I have more of a reason to get them done. Not just because they are small, but because I will know just how big they will be after pregnancy. If I was you I'd really think about it more, take a year to think about it, do research and talk to doctors if you are that serious. but I'd wait, you are still young.

P.S. small breasts can be just (if not more) sexy than bigger ones.

I agree with Mandy and the rest of those who voted for you to wait. You are still young and your body is still growing, changing. Wait till you have kids, and old enough to really need it.
