have you thought about the possibility that you water it too much?
but then the leavess wouldnt be exactly wilting, would they...
I heard you only have to water them once every one to two weeks.
And have you tried fertilizer?
Help! My aloe vera Plant is dying and I dont know why. When I got it I over watered it and all but one sprout died. then I accidently left out side during a heat wave this summer but I brought it back from that now It's wilting and dying slowly and I dont know why. I had it by the window and I think it got to cold would that be the reason. I didnt think it was cold the pot didnt feel cold at all but I dont know to much about plants. this is my first one. Can anyone help me Please?

I too have been raising house plants for years. The slightest changes can upset some of them. Others can survive through the worst environments. I agree with the last message too.
yeah i wrote that thread on my first plant i have now killed my second plant. i just dont have a green thumb. I think i'm going to buy plastic plants from now on.
Firstly, there is no such thing as an Indoor Plant girls. One must remember all life on earth need the sun to sustain healthy life, including us mere mortals.
Secondly, the plant you refer to from the "Aloe" family do not grow well ina pot, let a lone indoors. What you may like to do is check how large the plant is and make sure you do not bury too much of it under the soil as they have a tendacy to rot when over watered. Then, when you feel the plant looks like it has room to grow down as well as sideways, then your ready to water it. Mind, water only once a week and allways leave the plant in a postition where you know it will recieve optumion Sun light for as long as possible every day. Of course, it would be better if you could leave it on your balcany (if you have one?) all day in sun or when you are home on weekends. I hope this helps mate, cheers![]()

Dear tink:
Aloe Vera is a plant that MUST be outdoors. It will not grow in the house. It needs a minimum of 16 hrs of FULL SUN.If its below freezing then place it in the warmest window you have and LeaVE it.Water weekly or less.If you put it outside wrap the pot in a black plastic trash bag.Dont cover the foliage.Theis will help the soil warm and jumpstart winter.

It could be the soil.
I found that Aloe plants like a sandier soil.
and they dont like to be watered a lot.
make sure the soil is ONLY damp.
and in a heat wave, make sure it has a BIT more water.
