    Hello everyone,
My husband and I (yes I know my username is a guys) have a yellow lab and he eats a ton! Like I'm not even kidding! And the strange thing is he doesn't get fat or big or anything. He just is big. I wish I could eat a ton and stay my same size. Anyway, the dogfood money kinda hurts the wallet but we can handle it.

If you're worried about your dog's health, you could take him to see a vet. If you think the dog food is outrageous, you should have it adopted by a decent family who can afford the dog food and know how to treat and handle a dog as a pet (but then again, I suppose the latter pointer is not useful since you and your husband do not mind spending loads on your dog).

Or elly.ono, the outbound link removed from the Administrator of this site, was promoting a food product for a dog?

I have a Husky, one blue eye and one brown eye, she eats two chicken wings a night, and a smacko in the morning, or when I can, pasta/veg and chicken home made, little Pomeranian I have is on a liver diet, now that sucks financially but she's 14.

You know what though? Unless i walk them both they are FAT lol... yet eat next to nothing?

    Go figger.

Don't give you dog bones, unless fresh not cooked, don't give them left overs fat from steak or bacon, it goes to their waist just like us and don't stop loving them bless them...

It's those puppy dog eyes huh that get us to give them more, more, more, and um, no, no, no.

That's the lesson I think we need to learn about our dogs.

Don't fall for their I am hungry need your left overs, ..... so harrrrrd.

Well, jcksmith21, to solve those problems you would need to give more information.
But as to Jerry Kipler: i know what you mean about dog feed. My sister has a great dane! Now he eats like our horses!!! Its amazing. But hes not fat, he gets a bit of excercise sure, but great danes are a bit on the lazy side
I had a beagle once and he didnt get alot of feed because they are notorious for getting fat. He was rather large though as i live on a farm and he used to forage for dead things when let of his chain!! Haha oh man i miss him so much x Not sure what pup to get next though. Cant make my mind up. Plus my horses take up ALL my time and money!!!!!
Not sure if money spent on dogs compares to how much is spent on horses!!!!!! Sigh. Things we do for our animals huh... wouldnt have it any other way !
...follow the white rabbit and see how deep the rabbit hole goes...
