Thanks! I had a really rough week tho...had a bad argument with my roomie about the rent and just started my period yesterday too. Today I am feeling okay tho despite these things.

I had a good bath and washed all my clothes and bedding. Just taking things one at a time. On a good note I finally made a Facebook page yesterday. So if anyone here would like to add me feel free to do so.

    Hi Issabellacat,
It sounds like you've been down a hard road also.
I have only belonged to one other messageboard for the same reasons you pointed out. Thoses other boards mostly have people waiting to jump on you and do nothing but critisize, They are all bullies in my opinion.
But this board is completely different and very helpful and informative.
I've only been here a few day and already feel so much better.
It's not the same as having friends to hang out with or a boyfriend but it does help a lot to know that there are people out there that feel the same as you doa nd have gone through some of the same things in life.
It makes you feel not so alone.

    Isabellcat,

I hope that things are getting better for you. It seems as though you are trying to stay more positive.

Sometimes life gets to be so overwhelming and I often find myself not sure how to get out of the bed in the morning.

I'm glad that you have decided to vent and also see a therapist. The best thing you could ever do is ask for help, guidance and support from a community like this one.

One thing that I like to do is journal. It helps me write about the stresses and joys of life in addition to venting and clearing my mind of all of the negativity going on in the world.

Just like you post here on women's health you may also want to start writing something just for your personal escape where you can be 100% honest about how you feel.

Keep me posted on how you're doing.

    Health and wellness,
    Andrea

Hi, Do you want to really change.?Well its got to be turned around.Go to a hospital, visits the burns ward, the old people, find some comminity group, and help someone, its sobering, the issues here are all about you,if that goes on, you become a victim,in need..So the soul needs push out,to go back up ... help someone.
Drugs are in your system, they cause the up and down, change the diet, start looking out for you, take you story to a school, and tell them what not to do.
There are others like you..a bit lost, all gone to .
There was agirl and sister who found their mother, committed suicide, and she wrote a song about it, and fought back up..
f you need to feel, you are the only one in this condition, go to theblind institute...its a healing experence...your problems evaporate...Do get a job,,better than the benefit...
Need to get very BUSY, make you sane...Go ask yourself this, how many neghbors do you know???I am sure an old pensioner would love a chat, they are wise old birds:
make a good cuppa. How to start.Do some help for free first..DOnt stay indoors, turn off the TV and DR>pHil...

I think you have alot to offer,,one thing helped a friend of mine, write down, everything that has happened to me, lots of pieces of paper, then burn them,,one by one, when thats done, you are just like everyone else, new page and lots of future..If just one dollar you saved... and one new second hand hat you brought,2 more friends you made,,life is just that , not a tv set, or a meal, or thing... its what we do. with what we have right now..

I had a rough week but I think I'll be okay. I've been upset because I missed out on a cool concert early this week because I had nobody to go with I'm kicking myself now because I should have went by myself anyways.....I've been a loner lately and it's so not cool.... but I have been going out alot more . I'm into really nerdy things like videogames and cute nerdy guys but I'm so shy.....I always hear other girls talk about all the guys they've been with but I'm such a dork I have'nt had a boyfriend in awhile, but a part of me is okay with that.Just wish I was more outgoing...I'll try writing stuff down and burning it like you said...that's a neat idea.

isabellacat, reading your post, its obvious the confidence is still not there. you state your nerdy, and such a dork etc etc. you are sensitive and intelligent, maybe your not part of the pack but maybe you're a cut above, please be kind to yourself!!!

Thanks Happy Ending....yeah I guess you can say I am really hard on myself. thinking about this alot,I figured one of the reasons is because I don't have any female friends in my life at the moment who can just be my friend, leave all the drama and ego behind and just be a friend. I've been so alone. I used to have a friend named Laraine whom I considered my best friend at one point, but we had a falling out a year ago and she moved to the east coast. After that I have'nt had any friends I can go out with and do stuff. Only friend I have is my ex boyfriend Ben,who still takes me out on occasion. But i really miss having a gal pal...talk about stuff in a down to earth way.
I'm trying to meet people online but it's been hard. Just today someone on my facebook wrote me a dumb message saying she felt we had nothing in common because I am not as outgoing as she is. That really hurt my feelings. Funny tho, some of her guy friends have been hitting me up after that lol.

'sigh' This just makes me soo depressed.

I am sorry for your pain. Trust me, take care of yourself and the big problems will take care of themselves. The best thing you can do right this moment is be good to yourself. dont do things that can hurt you. It seemed like I had trouble trusting people in the past because I didnt feel good about myself and wasnt able to make good choices. I have seen some bad therapists. You can always request to see a new one. You have friends here even if you dont know us.
