Ok, I have been constipated for 2 days. I've tried to go and it's very painful. I've taken a senokot, do you think this will help me pass stools easier? Because the cramps from not going are absolutely killing me. Sorry to be so blunt, I just need an opinion from anyone who has experienced it.

    Sucks for sure.

Yes, it should help, but you need to drink alot of water.

You need to eat less meat and more greens/veg your body may be having trouble breaking things down for some reason.

Also buy some prunes tomorrow and munch on them.

    LOL, sorry..

Um, maybe, if it's strong but hey, you need to get it all out at the end of the day.. for now and then work on how to regulate it all again, as I said.

You might try an enema for some immediate relief. But you need to adjust your diet for consistant regularity. Plenty of leafy greens and fruits, lots of water. Take fish or flax seed oil.

Your going to have to clean out your system. High fiber, low fat. Fiber is like the cement of the colon, it keeps things strong and in good working order. Try eating bran cereal with prune juice, not milk. Avoid dairy products for a few days at least. You don't need to change your entire lifestyle but adding more fruits, greens, and water like previously mentioned will help with preventing this. It would also be a good thing to buy a fiber supplement just to always have it in your system...because honestly eating multigrain bread 10 times a day can get annoying if you do not like the taste.

The quickest and easiest way to relieve your constipation is to give yourself an enema, or have someone help you with an enema. You will feel better in 10 minutes instead of having to swallow something and continue cramping with the tummy ache, waiting for it to work, and upsetting your whole system. When my daughter got constipated I gave her an emema, and she was back on track in less tahn 15 minutes. I do the same to relieve a constipation problem as well. If you need instructions or advice on having an enema, post a message. A good fiber diet will eliminate you constipation problems.
    Thanks

magenesium citrate is VERY helpful for correcting any constipation, its a great cure for it, if you have more stress or eat too many carbs, or dairy..you need more magnesium in your diet...so make sure you have enough of that...

also, chia seeds put into water and let it sit for 20 minutes, it forms a "jelly" and you eat that, its SUPER for fiber and vitamins, and omega oils....that will help you w/ your constipation issues, especially if it is not chronic...drink a lot of ACTUAL WATER...just by itself, like 6 to 8 glasses or so...
Do or do not, there is no try!
