    Default Long Hair!

About two years ago I lost alot of hair. I have to cut it very short to even look ok. It has been growing back but very slowly. I was wondering if there is anything I can do to make it grow back faster or look thicker?

For your hair to grow faster oil it regularly. Mix oil like almond, Castor and coconut and just heat it a little before applyin it on the head. this would grow your hair faster and even new once s will grow. but yes it would take a little time.
In case you need to make your hair look thicker instantly then use some shampoo which gives instant volume and bounce.

In hairdressing school, we learned a lot of different tips and tricks for this!

foods loaded in potassium help out a lot, I normally eat a banana a day.
Putting your hair up when it`s wet really increases breakage and overall damage to the hair shaft. Try and avoid this as much as possible.
If you blow dry AND flat iron your hair, I would recommend having your shower, then get dressed and do everything else like eat, etc before blowdrying. This gives it a chance to air dry as much as possible, reducing damage from heat.
My number one thing, is taking biotin. It is easily found in most vitamin stores, and it makes your hair and nails grow faster and stronger. I take it every day, and it makes a HUGE difference.

I don't think you can make it grow faster. The growth rate is determined by your genes...but you can make it grow stronger and healthier. Vitamins are great, especially vitamins. For myself, I have found that eating a healthy diet works a lot better than taking synthetic vitamins. Throw out your blow-drier...use a good conditioner every time you wash...use a gentle, seamless comb...and treat your hair like old lace!

As a nutritionist I say eat a diet rich in protein and iron.

My best friend is a hair dresser and she always says if you have normal hair than wash 3-4 times a week, get a cut every 8 weeks, and don't leave your hair tied when you sleep (also don't over-brush or run you fingers through your hair a lot)

I've seen supplements at the health food store. I think it's mainly gelatin. Helps your hair and nails. I think even Knox brand makes a powder version for hair and nails.
