Is anyone trying to compete in any triathlons or other physically strenuous challenges, or is anyone trying to loose a large amount of weight? I’d love to chat back and forth to share accomplishments, failures, or just whatever!

Oh, I'm in a challenge - it's not a sport related one LOL.
I let a few pounds add on and am getting those to leave and I'd dropped way back on my running and am getting my endurance back up. I'm just into being healthy and keeping it juicy.

    Talking Keep it Juicy!

LOL. Keeping it juicy! It sounds naughty! I LOVE IT!

    Awh…you make work less boring.

I’m glad you are getting your endurance back up because running kicks butt! I try to run sprints! It’s hilarious! Hey you gotta be able to laugh at yourself.

Yah I know what you mean about letting a few pounds on…well in my case it was more then a few pounds. I was what I affectionately would say super chunkers! Te he!

I’m sure you’ll beat your challenge!

I've been doing some trail running. I just completed my first 25K trail race.
11,000ft elevation change. Snow, mud, straight up straight down, hot sun, stream crossings...the whole bit.
Took me 5 1/2 hours. Next year will be better. I'm going to take at least 30 minutes off. I didn't have the time to train because I was away for a national tournament for boxing leading up to the race and the night prior I only got 4 hours of sleep. (not trying to make excuses) but I will do better next time.

Good for you! I've been wanting to get out and climb some 14ers. Don't think I could run them.
