but im desperate.. anyone know how long do i have to wait for japanese citizen?

im 18 yrs old. my dad is japanese while my mom is a filipino. i was told to stay here for 6 months and i will be interviewed on the 6th month of stay here. then they will start processing the papers after that.

i was wondering, do i have to wait again for months after the interview to have japanese citizen?
if yes, how long?
or how long will it take to process the papers?

pls help me. im desperate. i need to go to school soon.. and i cant stay that long. thank you in advanced.

Well, I'm not Japanese, so I wouldn't know for sure, but I don't think you would have to stay in the country after the interview. I think it would be best to call in and ask, or bring it up at the interview itself so that you know for certain.
