Great Form of Getting Kids to Stop Fighting

I heard on my local radio station a great form (well that I have found anyways) for your kids to stop fighting. This lady phoned in and said that she has 4 boys, pretty close in age, who most of the time got along, but sometimes had a few punch ups. She said that the best way that she got them smililng at eachother again, was to make them stop and think about what they were doing to eachother, then give eachother a cuddle and a kiss on the cheek. She said that they would giggle and go off playing with eachother every time she did that. I have just started trying this with my 3 kids. The don't often fight, but I really don't like it when they do, and I tell you what, the have gone off giggling ever single time that I make them do that. I have found it great, no smacking or tears... give it a go

I will have to try that! Our girls fight constantly! It's a love/hate relationship! It's funny because as soon as one is in time out the other is asking if they can come out of time out so they can play! Haha.
