light brownish discharge, no pain, no odor... still worried!!

hello,
so about 4 days after the end of my period i had noticed what seemed like very little brownish colored discharge in my underwear. it looked like a couple of drops of blood but turned out to be actual discharge. i do have a doc appt in 2 days but wanted to inform myself in the meantime. i am on birth control but when my period was supposed to start it didnt. instead i had what seemed like bloody tissue. my period then came a week later and stayed two less days.. now i have this discharge. could that be a sign of pregnancy or something else? a pregnancy test turned out to be negative when i took it. just wanted to see if others were or are in the same boat as me and any advice is very appreciated.

Doesn't sound like pregnancy! Anytime, you think something isn't right, see your Doctor!

That being said; I will sometimes do the same thing! Some months, I will have regular bleeding, only for a day or so, then have the brown discharge throughout the rest. I am pretty regular on my cycles; However, if you start spending alot of time with a girlfriend, you will eventually get on the same cycle. This can throw off your timing a little.

this is normal. Brown discharge can appear either before or after your period. I never had this till i started the pill and now i get it every time for a few days after my period. there are a few threads on this maybe have a look. They might help
